I don't remember an outcry for support to help rehab Camp Thunderbird by the board of directors. It would seem that the collection of funds would trump generational tradition. I think the funding and support to keep this camp could be found. The closest analogy I can think of is the board of a church selling the cemetery and calling you to come pick up grandma...."because we needed the money for outreach".
