Most likely closed and up for sale. This property was transferred to GS of Oregon and Southwest Washington at the time of council mergers. Per GSOSW Long Range Property Plan the council planned to enter into discussion with Silver Sage to determine disposition of land.

Silver Sage closed Camp Jean Hayes in the Pocatello area two years ago. But O’Toole seemed to minimize the closure, calling Hayes an “unimproved camp.”

    “An unimproved camp means it does not have cabins or other amenities, just straight tent camping,” she said.

    And as recent as last November, Silver Sage was forced to close a camp property in Baker City, Ore., “another unimproved property,” O’Toole said.
